Ugh, I'm getting frustrated for real now. Someone please give me an honest opinion....
Like I mentioned my friend's mom offered to make (and pay for) our STDs for us...
The plan was to make the STDs on magnets...the person making them mentioned that they were the size of business cards! Isn't that a little small for something like this?
This is not at all what I asked for, but I'm having trouble getting my point across, when I get home tonight I could post a picture of my 'sample' of what I'm thinking.
Ugh, I hate them, I'm never going to be happy.....I want to just make my own.
Oh and the picture looks so smushed! But I think the problem is the amount of words that need to be put onto those tiny little magnets. Agh, I'm so frustrated!!

I think you need to make your own at this point. You aren't going to be happy, and you might even resent this woman. It's a nice offer, but you don't have to take her up on it. Or say you had a brain storm in the middle of the night and you made something different. I bet when you show it to her, she is happy to print them.

I basically just sent her an email apologizing for being such a pain, and asking if there was any way we could make them bigger (with or without magnets) . I live 2 hours away so it's not easy for me to just go down there and discuss it with her, so I asked if maybe we could talk on skype, and that I could show you a sample of what exactly I was thinking to save some of the confusion. I'll be there this weekend, but she said she wanted to show me a sample when I'm down there, since I won't be back until October probably, and we want to send them out before then.
I hope she's not too offended.

don't worry im sure she's not offended - business card size does seem kind of small although my sister's bff did that and it was fine. even though shes making a sample maybe you should bring one of your own (you said the other day you had one on some program i believe) just in case so that you are prepared to show her exactly what you want :)

I'm going to show her what I was thinking...and said maybe we could work together with the design. (I'm not sure what I want can be done using the program she has, so it may need to be a joint effort) and I asked for a skype date. I talked to my BM first, and she said she's sure her mom will understand, and she'll make sure she doesn't hate me.... lets hope not

They came out great. I think the fact its the size of a business card is ok. I think less writing would make it less squished.
