STDs with a POLL!

STDs with a POLL!

I am hoping to order my STDs soon and was wondering what is the proper way to address them?

I don't think there is a right or a wrong way, but I printed the addresses directly on the envelope on my printer.

I have received ones that were handwritten and I have received ones that had labels on them.

Printing directly on the envelopes was easy one I got everything lined up properly!

I printed them on a clear label.

i dont think there's a proper way - i've seen it handwritten and i've seen clear labels. we did clear labels

I agree that theres not a right way. I was going to print on them but then they were just barely too small for my printer so I hand wrote them. It did kind of take forever though....

There's no rule. I printed them directly on the envelope just because that's what I prefer.

I went the clear labels route, I don't think there's a 'proper' way to do them, just what you prefer.

Re: STDs with a POLL!

thanks ladies!!!!!!!

Now this probably seems dumb, but how do you print directly onto an envelope?
I guess trial and error?

I am looking on Microsoft Word, but i don't see an option for specific size envelopes like there is with labels.

Labels are so easy and then you can save the document so you have the labels all set up to print when it's time to do thank you's after the wedding.

If your in MS Word make sure you have the mail merge toolbar showing and then can click on Main Document Setup and it gives you the option to select letters, email, envelopes, or labels. You can change the size to one of the standard ones or put in custom measurements. (I use this feature at work all the time)

HTH any questions FM me

it looks very neat when it's printed on the envelope but I gotta admit how beautiful it looks when the name and the address is written in calligraphy!

I'm not sending save-the-date, but for my invitations, I'm printing directly on the envelop... Easier!!!

Re: STDs with a POLL!

Add me to the direct to the envelope peeps. I just picked a nice font and printed them off one by one. Took a little while, but they looked nice.

Re: STDs with a POLL!

i would do the clear label

id be too afraid to print on the envelope that it would get messed up and id waste too many lol

handwriting is too time intensive

i agree with the others though, there is no right or wrong way
