Are any of you guys using a steel drum band?? Our wedding is black tie so we decided to have rehearsal dinner causal. It's gonna be a big clam bake on the beach and we thought the drums would be cool. I just have no idea where to start...any help would be AWESOME!! THANKS!

i know Tommy's Tunes has Steel Drum Bands. it was pricey though.

DDE (Dr. Dance Entertainment) has a steel drum band. I didn't use them, but used 5 of their other services for my wedding and everything was PHENOMENAL!!! DDE is one of the LIW vendors so you can find him here. Also if you post Steel Drum Band in Vendors helping brides they will be able to give you quotes and stuff. GOOD LUCK!

Steel Sensations are amazing, a little pricey but they are incredible. We couldnt afford to do them but we are having a steel drum during our cocktail hour through our DJ, Long ISland SOund.

I used a Steel Drum Band through Stan Weist. They played on the balcony during the cocktail hour and they were INCREDIBLE. Although Tommy Tunes was my DJ - Stan Weist gave me a better price on the Steel Drum Bamd. They were close to 1000 for 2 guys.. but worth every single cent.

We are using a one man steel drum band from our dj company, he comes with more pieces but we decided on just using him solo since it is a smaller wedding.

We booked Steel Sensations for CH. They sounded great at the vendor showcase and at their rehearsal (we went to Queens to see them perform and sign the contract). My friend used them 5 years ago and loved them also. They gave us a good price. :)

I was totally going to use one, but I decided to be practical and have my dj play reggae and put the money towards something else.
My RH recommended a steel band that wasn't too expensive, FM me if you want the name

i had one.. some pics in my album..
the guests loved it and the guy was nice and stayed an extra 20 minutes with no problem...
linc carnival band.. they were they cheapest i found..
