can you tell me what you liked about john from vip - I am so ready to book him, but just want some info...like how detailed was your contract? Did you go with a package or custom design? (I need to a custom design, b/c we are not getting parent books - but folios instead.) any info and input you have would be great.

We actually did a custom design. It's the basic package with a couple of changes. I'm sure what exactly is in the contract because my mom did that with him. But I was able to get the video and the photo package for about $3200. The B&W candid with the second photographer was the biggest plus for me. Because i really wanted black and whites. Plus it seemed to be a lot of proofs about 300. And you get to keep the proofs at all the package levels.

We are using him also. We didnt book with him directly but through Wedding World who does mostly everything for the wedding. I met with him before we booked him though to see his work. He was very nice and I loved his pictures. He has a lot of candid shots which is what sold me. Posed are nice but they are not natural and I dont want an album of all posed so that was my major criterea. He seemed very enthusiastic about pleasing myself (and other brides) so he is easy to work with. My only concern is that my contract says he stays until the cake cutting then leaves. We can have him there later but there is a charge for it. I dont know if that is normal or not...That you may want to look into but that is not his contract that is Wedding Worlds. Good luck!!
