Stef28 ... about the table cards

In one of your posts, you mentioned that you made large cards and laminated it with city names and information!
How did you do this? We are thinking about doing the years for our table, but I think is will be best to keep them numbered at the hall. So, I was thinking of doing something like what you did, but I'm not sure how big your cards were and if you did them yourself and where you got them laminated, and how it looks.
Help me please!
Do you have pictures of your cards too? That would be an added bonus!

Let me see if I can find a picture of them. Basically I did them about half the size of a 81/2 x 11 piece of paper, and did it lengthwise so it was longer going up and down, rather than across. I wrote the names and the bried description and then left enough room below it for the caterer to add the numbers they have. You know those stands they use to put the numbers on the tables (with the ring that you stick it into). They put my cards up and then just stuck the numbers on the bottom part of the card. I know it's difficult to explain.

My mom laminated them at work but you can take them to Kinko's or a copy center and they can laminate them -- check with some folks you know to see if they have one at work that you can borrow -- or atleast pay for the laminating sheets (available at office supply stores I believe).

I made them signs double sided so that guests could read it from either side of the table.
