Stefan Florist brides??

We looked at Stefan's and were not very happy with a few things we saw there. They're close to where we live.

We had met with them and were given a quote- they typed it up and sent it to me about a week later and we had set up a appointment to come back to see a sample centerpiece.

That day we went back, we had a 12pm appointment and saw the sample centerpiece. It was nice don't get me wrong but it had roses that were wilting...at first I was looking at it and then FH and I saw some (about 6) roses that were drooping. I had asked when he did the sample and he said at 9am that day.. only 3 hours before.
I did not point out that the flowers were wilting but I did ask him 'the quality that I see here is what we would be getting' he answered yes to that. I quickly dismissed Stefan's as a choice for us.. we ended up booking with Flower Michele- we're also getting more for our money with Flower Michele.

I'm not saying dismiss Stefan's but really to look their work over when they do a sample.

I am a Stefan's bride and they are fantastic.
My brother and sister both used them for their weddings over the past 4 years... their work is unbelievable!!

We went to Stefan's because they are one of the only two we are allowed to use.

We met with them, looked around the showroom, everything looked nice but not quite my style. FH really wanted to use them because he felt our other option was harassing him with constant telemarketing. The guy assured me they could do what I wanted so we were happy and got a quote.

A few days later we get the letter to come see a sample and with it was a typed up estimate BUT it was more than $1K over what we agreed to (which I thing was high compared to what my friends have paid at other places). We were furious! We spoke with them and told them we weren't happy and they wouldn't go back to the original price so we booked the other place.

So that's my long winded story....IMO i just don't think that is a good way to do business.
