Stefans, Dalsimers or Jack and Rose Florists??

I have not heard of Dalsimers.

Stefans has a reputation of being high priced and you are dealing with a big business (some ppl. prefer that and some do not). I haven't heard a lot about whether their quality is good or bad so I cannot comment.

Jack and Rose has such mixed reviews. Some love them and some hate them. That scared me a little bit.

I am the PR director for a university, and the the university uses Stefans for all its big events. The flowers are gorgeous-- pricey, but gorgeous.

When I was first looking at reception sites, I visited Atlantica while they were setting up for a wedding. Dalsimer was doing the flowers, and the centerpieces and chuppa were just stunning I asked the set-up guy for his card. Dalsimer was the first appointment I made. I described the CPs I had seen over the phone to the guy from Dalsimer. He was very enthusiastic, said he remembered that wedding, etc. It was very difficult to get an poointment. I couldn't wait for their HUntington office to have an opening, so I trekked all the way to cedarhurst to see him. Well, when I got there, he said he looked up pictures of the wedding I was taling about and that I didn't remember it right. So, I asked him for a price quote on doing it the way I remembered it, b/c that's what I want. He pretty much dismissed the idea and kept showing me photos of other designs that he did for famous people. They were beautiful, but I at least wanted to try it my way.

I am sure Dalsimer would have done a beautiful job, but I went with Flower Michelle, b/c he was receptive to my ideas and willing to get creative with me to make my vision for my wedding a reality. I also had a great meting with Spitz and Peck, but Flower Michelle gave me a lower price.

To his credit, Dalsimer did call back later and offer to come down on the price, which was nice.
