Stems showing??

My florist asked me if I wanted the satin wrap on my hand tied bouquet to cover the entire stem or half I cant decide, what are you all doing?

my cousin did her's half and I loved it. It goes well with the hand-picked flower look. JMO

I belive there was a recent post about this that send there was a possiblity that uncovered stems could stain your dress. You might want to look into that. I prefer half covered, but want to find out more about the staining risk.

I think it might also depend on your whole look/ambience. I love both but find that the stems-showing look is a bit more spring/summer and casual. The wrapped look is nicer with a more formal look.

My friend did half, it was gorgeous. I vote for half!

I am not showing stems, my florist said it could get sticky, and drip or stain the dresses.

I'm having mine completely covered and my girls will have half showing.. I don't want it to leak onto my dress

I did half for all of them & it looked beatiful- nothing happened to anyone's dresses- nothing got sticky or drippy.. it was amazing.

Mine - NO stems showing, I can't take any chances.
BP - still thinking about this, I am having a morning May wedding, half/half may look quite nice

My florist likes stems showing better but the staining thing is mighty scary I am having red roses with a tulle ballgown

At the last wedding I was in, we all had our stems showing and there were no problems with staining/leaking... I like it both ways, though.

Def. no stems showing. I can envision me and my sweaty palms holding to the bottom of the stems and the green going on my dress! I will do all bo-ks this way.
