OK I want one but my brother had his last summer and it was a blast...I cant top it

Also he is getting married this June so Bridal shower will be in May

i think I would be hitting up my family to soon for another party unless I say no gifts .

You should still have one and there's no reason to say no gifts just because your brother had one! You're entitled to get married too you know!

JMO - im just not a fan of them, never wanted one

I love going dancing. And the guys get an open bar so we get the best of both. It is a bit pricey but if we have fun it is worth it.

We usually go to my friends cabin in Vermont and go skiing but doing a change of scenery this year.

I guess I am not really sure if I want one either.

My dad wants me to have one and he is a big traditional italian. So sometimes he gets what he wants. I tried to offer the idea of something smaller like a dinner but he laughed.

Yea I kind of am over the party phase. Don't get me wrong, i really enjoyed it when I was still in it and more power to you for being a partier! We're just doing dinner w/ a few other couples and back to my place for some wine. We did new years in manhattan previously and paid obscene amounts of money for an open bar that we couldn't even get to and by the time we got there they limited us to one drink and you couldn't get the bartenders attention again unless you threw him a 20, hence my overrated statement! Oh and forget about ever getting to the bathroom!

175 people in my backyard.

Dance floor on top of the pool that you could see below you

ice luges

it was a game them so different teams were made so that everyone at the party mingled and won prize baskets at the end of the night.

We made bukets on every table with OFF, hand santizer, the game LEFT RIGHT CENTER, a whole bunch of stuff that everyone took home.

we shall see. Its not on the top of my list. Save the Dates are though.

Anyone doing them?

I think that's nicer than my wedding. Do your own thing, that was what your brother wanted, you do what you want! People are going to be there to celebrate your engagement, not to see if you topped your brother's party.

New Years Eve

We are going in with couples just to Bellport country Club but there is a dinner and open bar and dancing.

Im tired of the city also. I hate waiting for the train.
