At first I was planning on including all of our parents and any step parents. Pretty much just listing our parents and there spouses. Then I was going to put request the honour of your presecene at the marriage of their children..... This does not seem to be going over well with the MOG. She thinks her ex husbands wife should not be on the invite. Any thoughts or ideas?

I would just put
together with their parents. This way its not saying who exactly.

It depends on how close you are with your stepmom and who's contributing $$. My mom and I are very close and I'm not so much with my dad or step mom. I don't even think I'm going to put 'together with our parents' on the invites since FH and I are paying for the wedding ourselves. I could def understand your mom being upset.
On the other hand, I will be the step mom for my FH's daughter but she's only 8 right now. Being that I'm helping to raise her at this point I'm hoping that when the time comes for her to get married that I would be included not so much on the invitations but at least a mention somewhere.
