Do you think people that are on them should be arrested?
What about the sale of steroids?

bad bad bad bad bad bad bad BAD! The effect they have on the human body is just awful. BAD!

Yes I think the sale of them, except for medicinal purposes, ought to be banned.

Edited to say: No, I don't think the people who are ON them should be arrested - I just think they should get off of them for their own physical well-being.

My thoughts are this - I can't stand people using them to bulk up - they are around for medicinal purposes, and that's all they should be used for. I have been around people who have used them to bulk, and i've also been around plenty who have not used them and bulked up naturally - yes, it was a lot more work, but it payed off & they didn't have the attitude going after everything was said & done.

I take steriods for asthma,, like prednisone and medril does packs.. and when I have to go to franks moms house i have to go on them like a week before (cause she has cats). and frank has to take them sometimes when his arthritis flares up..

So some steriods are good i guess, cause sometimes i couldnt breathe without them.

I agree with Thrilled. They just do awful things to your body. But I dont think its a crime to take them. Then they may as well outlaw products containg ephedra, nicotine, alcohol, etc.

I had to take them for mecidnal purposes (prednisone) for several months and never felt so awful in my life and wondered daily why someone would take these when they don't have to.

Unless they are prescribed and taken under medical care for sickness or medical conditions, I am against the use of steroids and other substances that people use to bulk up! (although not sure how I feel about the part of your question about arrested and stuff.) My DH is a big workout/gym guy and he knows I would leave him if he got into any of that stuff. Luckily, he feels similarly about most of that stuff.

So much of that stuff is left untested and causes crazy stuff to go on in your body and most is not taken under any kind of medical supervision. Mostly taken under no guidance or supervision. Just last week one of the guys in my office passed out on the street and was in the hospital from taking one of those supplements (he was trying to bulk up and lose weight before a competition). (He is a personal trainer on the side and is involved in lots of competitions.) It is scary stuff.
