Re: Stewart Manor???

i looked there, and if it wasn't so far away from my house/church, i probably would've booked.

The place is adorable - it has a nice, homey feel to it. I'm in love with the ballroom. Its a long room with a huge dancefloor. There's a great stone fireplace at one end, and a raised stage for a band/dj at the other end. I was never there for an affair, but i've heard from reliable sources that its good. You have the whole place to yourself all night.

The price is AWESOME. It'll probably cost you around $75pp INCLUDING tax/grat/cake/CPs.

And I really liked the family that runs the place. James, and his mother, June were both really nice.

It was almost an hour commute, and we chose something a bit closer.

I'm thinking about having my wedding there too. I really liked that you have it all to yourself and James was great. FH loves it, but I'm still on the fence. I'm afraid that as soon as I book the place I'll find something that I love even more. I'm having commitment issues.

I booked Stewart Manor. I LOVE IT... and let me tell you, it saved me completely budget wise. i firmly believe you will not find a better deal anywhere on long island... and you get everytthing that every other catering hall gives you... i am having 170 people at my wedding and it will probably only cost about 11K... you can't do much better than that!
look into it!

Stewart Manor was my second choice. The only reason that I did not go with them is because I have over 200 people coming to my wedding. I thought it might be to tight. My aunt and uncle got married there there wedding was amazing.

I looked at Stewart Manor. It is beautiful for a small to mid size wedding, especially in winter. And very affordable, you should take a look. Plus you can take pics on the grounds if your ceremony will be there as well!
