Do any of the former SMCC brides have pics of their ceremony and pics of their reception? All of the pics I've seen so far are of the room when people are dancing and it's dark inside.
Does that place have a dark feeling to it? I want something cozy but not gloomy.
Their website does not have any good pics of the room and I wonder if that's because the main room isn't all that impressive...
Is it worth seeing? Any pics ladies??

I LOVE THE SMCC
The service was exceptional, the price was reasonable and the food was delicious!!
Here are some pictures- I don't have to the pro pics yet!
Are the only windows in the room the two by the fireplace?
I'm not sure if the gold drapes and the paintings on the wall are our style. I do want something with a country feeling but somewhat up-to-date so to speak.
But EVERYONE has said how great the service is and the price is SO reasonable.
I guess I'll send him the links and see what he says...

I think those may be the only 2 windows in the main ballroom. I am getting married there and I stopped by last week and it looked awesome! They hung up these new white/silk like tapestries hanging from the wooden beams that have white lights in them! Looks so nice! Def go there, you will love James!

I saw that in some of the pics. It does add a nice touch to the room.
Does the room feel dark? Two windows doesn't seem like a lot of light would flow into the room.
What is the shape of the room? I can't tell from any of the pics people have posted.

The main ball room is a rectangular shape, with the fireplace at one end (where the bride and groom sit) and at the other end is where the band or dj/ would be. The tables are set up along both sides and the dance floor is the entire middle of the room. One of the main reasons i booked it, is because it felt really warm and cozy to me.

Warm and cozy sounds nice, especially if we decide to go with a winter wedding!

My cousin had her wedding there in december, it was so nice! the place has a very christmas-ey feel to it, and the outside was decorated in all white lights! We thought about having it around the holidays, but we didnt want to wait that long!

I love white lights! I hate the winter and the cold but I love holiday decorations. I bet your cousin's pics are really nice.
