Still can't find a church

Starting to get worried.

Every church I can think of in our parish is booked or ugly.

Cry.

Gee thanks Rita!!!!!

ETA: Our original church which was fuuugggllly had our date on hold because they said they only book 9-12 months in advance.

Then they booked a 2:30 wedding and have a 5:00 mass so we wouldn't be able to have a ceremony there until maybe 7 or 8.

Well, we live in Middle Island, and parishes can include Coram, Middle Island, Ridge and parts of Shoreham and Wading River.

My parents live in Mt. Sinai, so that includes parishes in Mt. Sinai, Port Jeff, Miller Place, Sound Beach and possibly Setauket.

'09er crashing....

I live out your way but in Selden.

My church is St. Sylvester's in Medford which is pretty shabby at the moment on the outside and they are starting some renovations on the inside. The altar was beautiful but I picked the church for sentimental reasons since it is the only parish I have belonged to.

Did you look into St. Margaret of Scotland in Selden? That is a pretty decent looking church.

Good luck!

You didn't like St. John the Baptist? I thought it was a pretty church.

What about St John's in Center Moriches or St Jude's in Mastic Beach. Those arent too far from Middle Island

You tried St John the Baptist in Wading River? I think that church is beautiful. I grew up in Ridge btw... FM me what church was ugly?

OH, just finished reading the thread.. was it St. John's you didn't like?
