still have not received my license

Hello all,
Is there anyone I can call or email, I have not received our license yet and I am getting a little nervous.

I haven't received mine either. I am going to give it until Monday and then call the Town of Islip.

ETA: I am impatient, so I just called the Town Clerk's office. they have not received the marriage license back from the officiant yet!

i would give it more time...i believe it states it can take up to 4-6 weeks.

and i also believe it doesn't go ot your local town hall. it goes to albany.

It takes a while to get them back. I got mine 3-4 weeks after the wedding. Other people didn't get it back for months. I wouldn't worry about it.

Where did you get yours from?
I got mine in Manhattan - I called them earlier this week bc I STILL hadn't gotten it, and they told me they hadn't processed it bc they couldnt read some of the rabbi's writing!
Geez - don't let me know or anything!! If I hadn't called about it, they would probably have just sat on it for months!

We got our license 11 weeks after our wedding--and then it a letter to inform us that there was an address missing on it! After we sent back the correction, it took another 3 weeks after that. I think NYC takes longer than a lot of LI towns.
