I still havent booked a hall...the date is either 10/29/11 or 11/5/11 should I panic now or wait

definitely try to book ASAP. Things on LI book up fast. i wouldn't panic, but definitely start looking around.
Just FYI, 11/5/2011 is daylight savings day. not sure if that matters to you.

I wouldn't be too worried. I'm getting married in November of this year and we didn't book until January of this year. I feel like November kind of starts the slower season, so you should still have a lot of options!

I booked a year in advance, but you want to set a date as soon as possible because some vendors get booked quickly too.

We booked our hall 9.5 months in advance - you'll be fine. Look now and start to take it all in. Book sooner than later though because some vendors do get booked - which could be a problem if you had a particular vendor in mind. One girl from my job got married xmas even and is getting married in the beginning of June! Not even 6 months! And she so calm about it.

Relax and breathe, you still have a year and a half. We booked our hall around the one year mark!

i wouldn't worry, but if you feel comfortable with the dates, then just book it. no point in worrying and having to deal with a lost date.

i booked my hall on the last week of November for my August wedding ... but you should know that the RH was booked for my top 4 or 5 date choices

i would not panic at all... girls on liw (myself included) tend to do everything verrrrry early, the rest of the world prob books their rh about a year out

If you're flexible with your date, then you probably won't have an issue. I'd be more concerned baou the photogs and DJ's/Bands I want being booked.
When I went, I only wanted THIS date, and there was only place I wanted to look at that was booked... but that was 2 years out.
Don't panic. But start weighing options. A lot of people plan amazing weddings in much less time. Good luck!

don't stress out about ANYTHING!!!
your not getting married until the end of next year! you don't need to start looking yet.
My friend just booked a wedding for this october at the Crest Hollow Country Club and she just booked it like 3 weeks ago and they still had those dates available for later this year and so did lots of other RH...
take it slow, pick something you like. when you fi nd it, you'll know - then book!

No reason to worry and especially don't panic! we are having a 1 year engagement, booked the RH about 10 months before the wedding and had pretty much every place we saw to choose from (we looked at 13 venues). We haven't had any problems booking vendors we wanted and actually have had options with everything. No reason to rush into something either!

I would panic when you hit the year mark - you still have several months before you should worry.

dont panic hunnie! look around, don't just settle. the vendors you see and your hall will get you nervous by telling you they book up quick, but that's just marketing!! many many people have under a year engagements and everything is PERFECT! I think it's just nuts like us who are planners! LOL no offense to anyone, i think you all will agree though

If those are the dates you really want you should book ASAP. All the best dates and times go first..
If you can play with the date, then wait but you may not be able to negotiate much with them..
