We've been putting this off but now with 2 months to go we need to book a place for our rehearsal dinner! We're looking for somewhere around Oceanside, Long Beach, Island Park, Rockville Center area... any suggestions???

Besides the places already mentioned, we checked out Alias Smith and Jones in Oceanside, and DJ Houdek's in Baldwin.
And we ended up going with Jani in RVC. We thought Chinese the night before would be a fun change-up to standard fare. And the prices blew all the others outta the water....

Try McArthur Park in RVC on Maple Ave... very reasonable.

We booked late too...luckily the owner held our date. I can recommend the followin places: La Parma is great!! Good foood!!! We had our work christmas party at Alias Smith and that was really nice too. We wanted Sole but they were booked. All great places to think about.

You should be fine, we didn't book our RD until 1 month before the wedding...don't worry I am sure you have plenty of time
