STILL NO CLOSING DATE!!!

i am beside myself at this point. the mortgage is clear and everything is in order we are waiting on some survey, and they are now SHOOTING for the 18th but not sure, and in the meantime i continue to pay an EXTREMELY high rent...

I cant believe we cant get a set date, this is UNREAL!!!!!

I feel like I could have a nervous breakdown, i never ever want to go through this again!

I can't believe you are still waiting, have you tried calling them,a nd telling them it is unacceptable, I ahd to keep pyushing to get a lcosing date, and after become an annoyance, we seemed to get one.

I cant really believe its been so hard to close, i actually thought given the fact that we had nothing to sell and the owners of the new house dont live there anymore and that we have good credit that this would be a breeze, GOD WAS I WRONG...

I just cant wait till its over..

Hang in there Suzanne! We waited a VERY long time and then before we knew it was sprung upon us! It's totally worth the wait!!!

Is the seller holding it up or the banks/lawyers???

at this point its the survey we are waiting for. I just got a call and we should have a date today or tomorrow, but i am not holding my breathe..

I've heard that if you need a new survey, it could take a little while. Not sure how to speed up the proces...
