Oh man, I just need to vent a little. I spent about 2 hours last nite playing every song for FH to find a song for our first dance and........NOTHING!!!!
I want to kill him, I can't understand why we cannot agree? Here is what I have it narrowed down to,
1)Everything-Michael Buble
2) Thank You-Bon Jovi
3) Forever and Always
4) I knew I loved you-Savage Garden
5) Angel Eyes-Jeff Healy band
Ladies please post what you have picked, I may have to steal one since mine aren't good enough for FH

We are using 'Crush' by DMB, but I really wanted either 'I could not ask for more' by Edwin McCain or 'All I want is U' by U2

Aerosmith and Don't Want to Miss a Thing is definitely awesome, but I must admit, I've heard that played as the first dance song at like every wedding I go to (I go to a lot of weddings), hahaha.
You mentioned that your song is We Belong Together by Mariah, but it's not appropriate. What about maybe doing some other more appropriate song by Mariah? This way you're sort of using something that has to do with your song - it's the same singer. There's 'Thank God I've Found You', which I think is an awesome song and the words are just so great. There's also her version of 'I'll Be There'.
What kind of music does your FH like? Is he more into rock/alernative, or R&B, pop, etc? Cause that could help in finding a song that he'll like, which hopefully you'd like to.

I had the same problem with my FH and we went thru sooooo many songs. We happen to go to a showcase and heard 'I Believe In You & Me' by Whitney Houston and he fell in love with the song so thats our first dance song.
