Still no job but I'm rewriting my book and

it's time to look for an agent again. Like immediately.

I'm rewriting my agent query from scratch because the old one only got one agent to bite and because I have changed the entire book.

But I don't know how this opening would fly:

My name is JanuaryBride and I am currently unemployed but that has absolutely nothing to do with this query or the book that I am in the process of writing. The aforementioned book is entitled XXXXX and I would like to invite you to review my proposal and consider representing my unemployed writing asss.

Or just to me.
I think any professional letter with the word asss in it is a winner.

Rose Ann - I will do the big plot reveal once I have it written. Generally, I map it out but the story can change depending on where my mind wants to go.

Jeannie - Done. I wasn't too thrilled with one of my minor character names. I did the search and replace with Jeannie. However, in my rewrite, she became so minor, I might cut her out. If so, I will then use the name somewhere else.

Lau - I'm NOT fancy, swear.

I don't have a dedication for this one yet - you all might be it

Marlo - there's XXX action in every story that I write.
