finding a photographer. Thomas Paul and Angelica Glass are both booked for my date. I'd like to keep the price around $3000....I know I must be missing some good ones. I've already met with three others, none of which I am crazy about for one reason or another. Who else can I try?

You should try Martin Willard Photography... HIS WORK IS AMAZING and he specializes in many types of photography!
Well so far I have seen Silverfox and have corresponded with Barnaby Draper via email. Both are way over 3000$ for photo and video, GREAT WORK but way over 300)$

In the area Marco was good....he was in Sayville/Bohemia right off of vets. He's not doing my wedding but he did a friend of mine and her pics and video came out AMAZING plus he was really reasonable!! HTH
