I'm posting this again because there has been alot of new girls on the board lately and someone might be able to help!
Does anyone know where I can rent a goat?
(I've looked into a bunch of traveling petting zoos and I don't need a dozen barnyard animals ...only the goat)

did you try a petting zoo?
i told FH about this and he was crackin up saying that's a great idea! except no bringing to goat back...he would want my parents to make goat curry...LOL

FH wants my dad to keep the goat. He has even recently considered BUYING a goat if we can't rent one.

My dad is from Germany....my dad told FH that he expects a dowry in exchange for FH marrying me (as it is custom in old school Germany). Specifically my dad wants a goat. Instead of FH brushing off my dads request for a goat, FH thinks it would be hillarious to surprise my dad with a goat. FH wanted to do it on our wedding day but theres no way in hell...so he wants to give him a goat before our e-party next month.
