been engaged for a week and a half and still seems so surreal that i'm planning a wedding!!!!! AHHHH I LOVE IT
I am getting married a year away.. we have our RH and band booked and made a decision on a photographer...When should I book a florist?
how about a honeymoon? do i need to rush on that?

Welcome to the most addicting site on the internet, and congratulations on the engagemet! I would make sure to book your photographer and videographer as soon as possible. You still have plenty of time, so you don't need to rush the florist and the HM. I am getting married in April and still have to book our HM LOL. If you have a specific florist in mind, then I would book them up as soon as possible. Otherwise, just shop around for the best quote for what you want...then book. Best of luck in the wedding planning proess....

I would start looking at photographers next. The good ones book up fast! I would then do video (if you're doing that) and flowers. We booked our honeymoon in August, so about 10 months out. I don't think it's too early to do a lot of stuff!!! Good luck!!

I would def start planning the honeymoon- you don't want to wait too long on anything IMO.
And yes, sometimes I get that rush of excitement when I think of the wedding- it's a great feeling!

Since you have more done in a week and a half than I have done in almost 6 months, I'd say you're pretty much set.
Are you getting married at your RH? If not, I would immediately book your church/synogogue/etc. You don't want to run into a situation where there's a scheduling conflict.
Then I'd say book your photo/video. If you already made the choice, the battle is over. You don't want to wait even an extra day and have it be booked out from under you.
Flowers you def have time for. I'm only going out of sequence with flowers before music because FH isn't involved with flowers, and he's a pain in my patootie to do anything with. Same with HM...not sure how it goes exactly, but I think rates are pretty high now, so you may want to wait it out and hope it goes down before booking flights and whatnot.

we know what photographer we are using so I just need to call to book them...
we are getting at RH and had recommended clergy suggested...we are doing an interfaith wedding and we are getting married on a friday night. Most rabbis dont do friday after sundown but the guy recommended by our hall does so i need to schedule an appt with him and the reverand ....

i would def book phto/video next and florist u would only say to bookif u have someone in mind otherwise they could be booked up for ur date....congrats on everything!!!!!!
