I have been waiting for months to buy airfare to St. Lucia, I think I found it for as cheap as it will go...but it is on BWIA. I never have flown them...
My other alternative is American Airlines for more money and a later arrival and departure in St. Lucia.
Help...BWIA for $1051.00 OR American for $1138.00

OH MY GOSH....that airfare is absolutely crazy. I'm sure you checked, but I hope you researched through expedia.com and travelocity and orbitz.
I'm sure there are people on here that have flown on the lesser known airline. I'm sure you can also check their on-time status/ratings.
Are you going at a peak time?

Check Yahoo travel...but...check it early in the morning. I noticed when I was booking my trip to Puerto Rico this summer, that as the day went on, the prices got more expensive. Weird huh?

Did you check air jamaica??? I think when we were going thinking of booking our HM there they had the best price & they are supposed to be a fantastic airline

Try posting on the vendors page, maybe one of the travel agents can get you a better deal.
