Still waiting for Seller to Sign.UPDATED***

We signed the contracts over 2 weeks ago and we are waiting for the DAMM sellers attorney to move his ASS... this time the hold up was that he wanted us to lock in a mortgage in 35 days instead of the standard 45..(i mean give me a break) and to boot, once we talked to the mortgage guy and he said that will be fine it takes the sellers attorney 3 days to call me back, and in the meantime the real estate calls me and says ' are you still interested in this house' im like HELL YEA, I gave you a BIG check didnt I.. Shes like, well the seller didnt know any of that.. the attorney hasnt called him either..

UNREAL!!!

Now he speaks to my attorney today and they tell him that they will overnight the contracts on Monday morning.. Hopefully this isnt more BULLCRAP, cause this would be a nice birthday present..

I hate this process !

Tell me about it.. they want this to go quick and they are holding everything up because of it...
now they wasted 2 weeks..

their lawyer is obviously not on the ball..

well, you need to light some fire under their a$$.. I thought my guys were motivated to sell to until the very end when they got sellers remorse and tried to get us to back out.. damn a-holes

We're having the same problem with the seller's atty for a house my mom wants to buy. He sent over a 19 page contract of sale It's a SIMPLE deal and he's making it into this super complicated thing. To say the least, my mom is pissed!

this happened to my sister...from the time their bid was accepted (they wanted to move fast) to the time contracts were supposed to be signed...the husband was diagnosed with cancer...so my sister and BIL looked elsewhere...
