Was something supposed to be filled otu in order to receive it or does everyone automatically get it. DH's # ends in 24 should he have gotten it already????

All you had to do was file your 2007 Taxes and you automatically get it

If he files for taxes, they will automatically send it, unless he makes over a certain amount... $75k i think.

After $75k it gets reduced and eventually phases out. They don't mention on the IRS site how much less you get.

If you make between 65k and 87k, you get less that $600. If you make over 87k, you get nada.

you can go to www.irs.gov and put in your ss info and they will tell you when you are supposed to receive your check

Songstress, it also depends on how FH got his regular tax return (if he got one) - if it was direct deposit, he should get it soon, but if it was by regular check, it's coming later. Check the IRS website to get the schedule.

Mine was supposed to arrive on May 6th via EFT and it actually came in the mail in a check! I'm not sure why because my taxes were filed electronically. If he hasn't received it yet, there is a strange possibility that it may com e in the mail!
