07er crashing, we are going to St Lucia for our honeymoon.
The Grande is the newest resort on the island. Also its restaurans appealed more to FH & my tastes.
You can travel and 'exchange priviledges' with the other resorts on the island, but for us it made more sense to stay where we thought we'd want to eat more often.
when u go to the grande its much nicer also u can eat and play at all the st lucia sandals resorts when u book at the grande resort
is the grande really much better then the regency????
I think we are staying at the regency because we really like the rooms that have the private plunge pools and I don't think grande has that. Also, the Regency has a nine hole golf course and FH is a golfer, so he would enjoy it. I read on tripadvisor.com that they do have some great restaurants at both, and you have the free transfers between all three Sandals resorts.

Halycon is the small one ( thats where i am going) regency is the middle and grand is the big one! remember when you book...( especially if u r trying to save $$) you have exchange privliges at all 3 so u can stay at regency but still go play at grande! Thats why we went with halycon figured why spend the extra $$ we dont have when we can stay at the small one for less $$, more days and play at the big resort lol!

thanks! i just want to get the most for our money and if we go to regency we get more nights for the budget we have.. but if the grande is really better then id rather go there and stay less (does that make sense??)

I totally understand what you are saying. But I would go to the regency for the longer amount of time, because you will get everything at the grande even if you are staying at regency. Why stay at the grande for less time if you will get all the benefits of it either way. You should check out tripadvisor.com though. I'm obsessed! I love reading about all the honeymooners' experiences there. It is so exciting to hear them talk about where we will be going!

we're staying at the grande because the food choices were better for us, as one of the other girls had said .. plus we heard the rooms were so much nicer that we defiantly wanted the best since you only have a honeymoon once! HTH
We went with the Grande but I forget why. We kept going back and forth between diofferent islands and different resorts so I forget the exact reason that we picked the Grande. But Im glad that even though we are staying at one, we can still go to the other ones too!
