stocking experiment

I've posted before about how garter straps make me feel like a marionette.

Well, today i am trying out thigh highs with the thick elastic. If I like them, will get white ones for my wedding.
They are Berkshire, someone here recomended them. ( sorry, forgot who--deleted the FM)

They were down to my knees before I even got to work!
I think I bought too small of a size.

I am wearing a knee length skirt today, so I feel a little like a hooker. They are black too-
definitely got to experiment a little more before the wedding.

My friend reccomened DKNY, but I'm not even on their size chart-not even for their biggest size! note to self- next time, try this experiment with a LONG skirt.

They were under $10 too,
Too good to be true I guess.
It think I am going to take them off right now under my desk while no one else is in the room.

yes

I'm al ittle chilly now. I'm goign to run to CVS ina minute & get regular stockings. I was going to leave the thigh highs on till I got them, but they were too annoying.

FYI _ i heard Victoria Secrets has great thigh highs.....
cant vouch for them though- but for myself i plan on getting the victorias pantyhose..

I've been thinking about experimenting myself with garter-free thigh highs.. now you've gone ahead and proven what I assumed .. that the thigh-highs are a tricky subject. I think I might just subject myself to pantyhose and call it a day (esp. since I can use the extra support!!)

hope you find some kind of hose that works for ya, and let us know when you do

Your too funny... I was just thinking I have thick thighs how uncomfie would those suckers be???
I Think I am goign to be wearing regular stockings too. I think I can handle them for one day.

I use thigh highs by Victoria Secrets. They have this sticky plastic at the top that stays all day. After the first washing you need to wet the plastic and stick it to you leg and it works all day long!

good tip- the lienwas logn at VS last tiem I was there.
and one friend said try DKNY instead.

I shodl have gotten opened toed sheos so i would have to bother at all.

I'm going to the bathroom now to put on the thigh highs & run to the store!

stockings make my thighs feel like sausages. i here the ones without the elastic up top don't do this but i don't know..

Wait....can I put in my two cents? This for us heavier girls. My friend who got married last year used thigh highs with the garters because she wanted to look like a sexy mamacita for her hubby afterwards. Anyway, complete backfire. By the end of the night she was in so much pain because the uncovered skin on her thighs had been rubbing on each other all night. Looks like I'll be wearing pantyhose.

PS - So sorry tourist, but I just cant stop laughing thinking of you walking and your thigh highs coming down!!!

Fine- laugh at my pain--see if I care!

I am now in CVS sheer to waist stockings- i hate control top.

the are so much better- I don't want to ear them for my wedding- I don't how that works with the corset comign so low, but they are so much better.

yes, when the thigh highs were actually on my thighs, they squeezes the fat up higher and the exposed parts were rubbing together--but then they fell down & that actually more confortable, if it wasn't for the hooker look.

I will try a few kinds, but I may end up with sheer to waist ones.
