stockings?

Hey ladies- is anyone wearing stockings for their wedding day? I'm debating- I hate wearing them with a passion, but I don't want the itchy crinoline from my dress to bother my skin....what are you doing?

Ohhh- and my shoes are peep toe

I'm not wearing stockings....I can't stand wearing them!!!! I'd rather itch than wear them

No Stockings. Might be wearing another slip to keep the crinoline from being an irritant.

Besides.. no one is going t be able to see my legs anyways.

I have closed toe, so I was thinking about some sexy thigh highs to go with my corset

Never I will never ever wear them personally...I hate them JMO...can you tell how I feel about them???

Either full pantyhose, or thigh highs, if I can find the right size to fit my huge thighs.

I'd prefer the thigh highs, only to make it easier to pee.

the thought of stocking makes me uncomfortable

maybe you should try a hoop under your dress. I'm wearing one & i love it! it's so comfy because it keeps all the fabric away from you.

not sure if i want to wear stocking, still debating, i dont like how stockings feel on my skin

I'm with you all - THEY STINK! hoowwwwwever...they have some really cute white fishnets (not the ones with the huge holes in between - the smaller delicate ones) these do two things....One. you get that sexy surprise of garters and fishnets for your honey at the end of the night (ok who are we kidding we'll all be too tired...so maybe you throw them on again the following morning
and Two. they feel a lot more comfortable on the skin - not like catholic school feeling all covered up

Three: with the 'micro fishnets' they'll let you breath YET give you some protection from a good portion of the ichies!

I agree full panty hoes are no good!! Think how annoying it will be when you have to get them up after you go to the bathroom...with the dress, you need that process to be as quick as possible!!

Either go for the thigh highs or don't wear any at all....let those sexy legs show!!

I agree about the thigh thing, they make my thighs look worse b/c it squeezes them!

The other thing about full pantyhose, even though they are annoying, they hold you in.

This is what I was think too. I am wearing sling backs . . . I just want to wear the thigh high stockings because it will add to the overall look with my corset and garters. I'm concerned that I'll be hot though

I wore pantyhose, even though my gown had an inside 'slip' layer between my legs and the crinoline. I just don't love my legs very much, and it's more comfortable for me to be in shoes with hose. And I don't mind pantyhose or tights, I wear them all the time (when it's not this hot!) Also, wearing control top hose that I pulled up past my waist meant I didn't have to wear a shaper under my dress. I was going to wear real stockings, the kind helds up with garters, but then I decided against wearing the merry widow I bought, and I didn't want to deal with a garter belt. Stockingirl has amazing stockings on their site--real silk, among others. If not for your wedding day, for the honeymoon. And they ship stuff really fast, I got my last order in a day on regular shipping (I think they're in CT.
