Are you planning on selling your dress after the wedding? Why or why not? Are you doing trash the dress?
I just can't imagine selling my dress. I love it so much and my mother spent a fortune on it, I think she would kill me if I did trash the dress.

Re: Stolen from 08: Selling your dress?
I dont know. It probably makes sense...since I'll never wear it again. But I dont part with things easily (i still have clothes in my closet from college!)...so I'll probably save it.

Not right away but maybe eventually after I don't feel sentimental about it anymore.

I don't think I would ever sell it. My mother still has her's from 43 years ago!

I honestly don't know. We aren't having children so I won't have a daughter to pass it on to. I may do a trash the dress shoot. They look like a lot of fun. Would totally do a beach trash the dress.

I would NEVER sell my dress....too sentimental. Besides, if I am blessed enough to have a daughter, I would like her to see mommy's wedding dress!!

i am not sure, i may save it to show my daughter and maybe one day she will want to alter it to her taste. Although in the past i end up giving my gowns to charity (dontated my prom dresses, etc) so i guess i'll see!

I dont think I would be able to sell my dress. I would want to keep it for my daughter (if I am able to be blessed with one...wait, blessed or cursed? lol) The only way I would be able to is if FH and i are in a really BAD money situation and we needed to find the money somewhere....but i would be torn over that too

Im keeping my dress. My mom has hers saved and Ive tried it on. I wan my children to try my dress on and take fun pics. I feel that its too sentimental for me to sell

Re: Stolen from 08: Selling your dress?
I am definitely keeping my dress. I can't imagine parting ways with it. I am not neccessarily doing a 'trash the dress' shoot, but I am doing a day after shoot. ..same difference, except I won't literally be trashing my dress, just doing some artsy poses in non typical places.

i also would never sell or trash my dress. will either have it put into one of those storage things or maybe use part of it for my kids christening & bassinet.
