I saw this on the 08 board and thought it was really cute and a great post booster!!
The first time I met my FH i was 'talking to' his best friend (long story, i'll save that for another post ) Anyway, so his friend kept on telling me how I have to meet his friend Nick and what a cool guy he was and how he is so incrediblely funny.
To make a very long story short, from the moment I met him, I never stopped laughing and always looked forward to bumping into him and seeing him around campus... the rest is history!!!

First time I met FH was when I trasnferred to NYU. He was my 'tour guide' and person who checked me in for my audition...then it ended up that he was in my major. Then we became good friends and here we are 3 years later engaged!

i dont really remeber the first time i met jay. he remembers though. it was like a year before we actually started hanging out.. we went to the same college and we had a few of the same friends... apparently i was introduced to him in the cafeteria.. he had a gf at the time though. then he later found me on myspace and we started talking more. than we dated and fell in love and 3 years later here we are.. gettting marrieddddd

Sooo... FH & I met online, decided to meet in person after I dunno... maybe 1 month of talking to one another... but its a funny story....
The day we were to meet, he had his friend go into my job and 'check me out' (make sure I looked like my pictures ya know).. His friend approved... Later that evening, he picked me up at my house and my 1st impression of him was classic... I said to myself 'Ok, this is the first and last date with this guy'... I cant rem exactly, but I guess he didnt look like his pic and I was bummed... Sooo, we continued on, went to the movies... Guess I liked him cuz I kissed him in the movies You can say that he just grew on me

I was the same way with mine. We met at a bar-first of all you know how those beer goggles come into play!! Well anyway we got off on the wrong foot to say the least..
There was a slight exchange of words but for some reason we continued going back and forth with each other saying stupid things througout the night and the mutual friends we all met up with, left-basically we were stranded and we took it from there...no one knew about it literally till we got engaged!

This is a long story but I'll try to keep it to the point... We went to different schools but my bus stop was at the high school in my town...he was always there hanging around after school hours (doing sports, clubs, etc) so I would usually see him on my walk home and we became friends. About six months later I had a school dance and no date. I thought he seemed like a really nice, cute fun guy so I asked him to my school dance. He accepted. We ended up dating for about three months, he was my first boyfriend and I was so into him. Then he dumped me.
In my junior year of college we got together again. This time was different and he was the one who was more into me...and we weren't dating exclusively. Needless to say we had a falling out.
After not speaking for about 3 years I called him up...it was like old times. We hung out a few days later and for this go around the timing was perfect. Four years later and we are getting married!
Funny thing is both of our sets of friends always new we were perfect for each other.

we met at college and i thought he was the funniest person i had ever met. we were friends for a while and i would have never thought we would even start dating bc he was def not the settling down commitment type of guy 3 years later...here we are!!

We met at a funeral... Yep.. a freakin funeral...
Originally we were talking online with a group of other people... a LOT of us... in a chat room on AOL... lol.. but we never actually met... until one of our mutual friends passed away.
So we were online buddies for like 2 years without meeting each other... and then we met at the funeral. He had a 'kinda' girlfriend at the time (who was one of my 'friends' from the chat room...we werent really friends but we had met a couple of times). I say 'kinda' because they had already broken up but were still ... well... you know...
so i had NO interest in him, other than being friends or whatever... but we began talking online a lot more after we first met... and he told all of our friends that he liked me and all of our friends tried to convince me to like him... and eventually we hung out by ourselves...
i threw a birthday party for my old roommate at our house, and he was invited because he was friends with both of us... he wound up getting wasted and had to sleepover so i let him sleep in my bed because we were really good friends. Nothing happened.
and then something really traumatic happened to me and i just needed a good friend to help me through it... so i called him...
and then it happened. we kissed. But nothing really came of it until about a month later. His whole family moved into my house after i kicked my thieving roommate out... and then about 3 weeks after they moved in, we started dating...
and then about 3 months after that we were engaged. :)
i know it seems fast, but they always say that what youre looking for is usually right under your nose... well mine was right under my roof.
My first impression of FH was that he was one of those guys who liked to drive around in his car and show it off, but it was only because he kept coming around to see me at his friends house that I was also friends with. He said he knew I was going to be his since the first time he saw me lol

My first impression of FH was... this is the guy i am going to marry..... i loved everything about him... from his voice to smile to athletic ability... it just all worked... The first night we met... he sat in my car for hours and just talked about anything and everything! Never once did he try anything slick & I respected him and loved him from the start for it.....

My first impression of my FH was wow this guy is so different from anyother guy that I have ever met. When I first met him, we were out for a mutual friend's birthday and I actually had boyfriend. So we spoke and just joked around. Then, my birthday came around and he came out for it and it just so happened that my boyfriend at the time had his cousin's wedding so couldn't come out for my birthday. So I had just gotten a cell phone and he (FH) was teaching me how to use it, since he had a similar version of the phone. As we were sitting there, i thought to myself, I can see myself with him for the rest of my life. Needless to say, My boyfriend at the time and me, broke up like 2 weeks later and then FH and I went on a few dates and then the rest is history......
AHH I love him!

First time I met FH hahah we were trying to set him up with my friend (that didn't work out at all) So we ended up hanging out alot .....
The night I graduated from high school i was already to go off to college in NYC with no man, and no cares, and then of course he asked me to be exclusive! And I couldnt say no ....DOH!
And here we are 7 years later......By the way at that time all my friends were dating his group of firends and now we are the only two still together....makes for awkward social gatherings!
