stolen from 2010 boards Uplighting

ok so I have been checking out DJ's and talking to Jackie (from 2010 boards) we are both getting married @ CLM and are both doing this right now

we are wondering about uplighting.
Her wedding is more during the day and I am at night (sun sets halfway through cocktail hour)... how did the uplighting look @ TWOTY? Do you think its worth it in that room? Also - was TWOTY during the day? ( i dont know what time i started)

I need opinions please! TIA!!!

ETA - even if you didn't to TWOTY - do you think uplighting is worth the $$??

I think at CLM if you're going to have a good amount of dark hours, the uplighting is def worth it.

It was actually pretty impressive even just after twilight, before it got pitch black... with all the windows, very pretty. Do it :0)I thought it was beautiful.

Dont know if you have someone for up lighting yet but definitely look at NYLoungeDecor they do the Lighting for the Dj Hart to hart. its the same owner.

I think any where that inst like a super traditional place (which CLM is pretty modern) then uplighting works.

When I went to the tasting at CLM they had beautiful uplighting.....I know that I definitely want it when I get married there....I think it gave a warm and romanitc feel to the big ballroom...especially since it has the high ceilings......Do you have any clue how much it usually costs to have it? and do you get it through your dj??
