What made you pick your wedding date?

May 23rd 2009

FH & I wanted to stay with the number 23 since thats when we started dating (July 23)

I said I would like a May wedding.... May 23 2009 is a saturday... it's like it was meant to be!

I have always dreamed of a November wedding. FH loved the idea of a November wedding as well. Since my birthday is November 10th, we thought the first weekend and second weekend of November would be too close so we went with the 3rd weekend. Since we will both be teaching and Thanksgiving is the following week, we won't have to take that many days off b/c the holiday falls in between.

blah. we still really havent picked a date... at first it was May 3, 2009, and then it was January 10, 2009... and then it was December 6, 2009... and now its April 4, 2009....

I didnt want a wedding in March, June, July, August, September, October, or November, so I was left with January, February, April, May, and December... and I've now had one date in each except for February.

So yeah... I think April 4th will be it for now.

well i m getting married on 5/24/2009.

The reason why we picked 5/24 is we started dating on that day, we were engaged on that day, it is my Grandma's b-day, and it is also his grandfathers b-day. My nephew was born on the 24th.

That is why the 24th is so special to us...

We picked July 3rd after having 3 other wedding dates! We then thought about how much fun it would be to have our anniersary around July 4th each year! We wanted a friday evening and wanted something after school let out..here we are!

we chose July 10th b/c im a teacher and i wanted a date close to the end of the school year but not too close so i have some 'last minute' time. I also wanted to come back from my honeymoon and have more time until i go back to work.
July 10th just worked out!

We chose November 14 2009 because it was the closest date to our anniversary.... cheesy but so us!!

We picked March 14th 2009 because we knew we needed about 2 years since we were paying for everything ourselves.

He asked me out October 14th 2004, he proposed December 14th 2006, Valentine's Day is February 14th...and March is the only month during the spring where the 14th is a Saturday.

So now all I have to say is...do you know what today is? And he's like yeah the 14th! I am like which one!?! LOL

Oh and with out thinking I asked him which month he wanted right after he proposed with out looking and he said March.

I guess it was meant to be!

I wanted summer...FH didnt want to be in a tux in the heat. We narrowed it down to October, then from that point on we randomly picked the 3rd. Nothing much put into it lol

i wanted april bc its starting to get nice out and most rh's aren't extremely expensive yet.. and also, april 10th is our anniversary so i think that would be cute

Well, I dont have my date yet, but I chose Aug 2, 2009 because....

Our anniversary is Feb 2, 2001... I will be working in a shcool so right off the bat I wanted a summer wedding... But I wanted to keep the '2' in there sooo... we will have been together 8 1/2 yrs on the wedding day

The only summer month to have a 2 on the weekend was August (its a Sunday) and it also happens to be National Friendship Day... So excited b/c FH is my best friend so it seemed kind of ironic (I plan on doing that whole theme.. 'This day I marry my best friend')

Its also his niece's bday so I of course have a cake for her too so shes celebrates her bday(She'll be 12)

our original date was just picked for no reason other then price. We wanted to do saturday night in the summer but it is too much money so we went with a friday night in winter.

now that our location is moved upstate we are doing June 5 (which is a friday) but it will be 9 year of our first 'i love you'

We originally wanted fall 08 but b/c of the pricing at Carlyle at that time we chose March 09. We picked the last day in March before the prices went up and the reason we went for March was we wanted to get as far from winter as possible. So although there was no meaning to our wedding date, March 21st will now be special!!

Yess, I have been tryin to tell my parents that a Sat wedding is like a waste of $$ in my opinion... The prices jump just because its a Sat... Soon no1 will be booking sats anymore and they will have to lower prices (maybe by the time our kids are ready to get married) Hehehe

We picked the date because it works perfectly with his vacation time. In his business he has scheduled vacation weeks and the other one is in January. We really didn't mean to do it but it's nice because it's actually my parent's anniversary (my mother is deceased though).
