My sister recommended looking into Stop & Shop for our wedding flowers. We're on a small budget and flowers are something we decided to go the cheap route. I was thinking of making all my own too. Just curious on what you guys thibk of the Stop & Shop idea and if any of you have ever seen what they can do? Thanks!

Re: Stop & Shop Flowers
I've seen some nice stuff there. I always get mother's day flowers from their. We are also skimping on the flowers. I'm only getting flower bok and them making my own non-flower cps. so if your not into flowers that is always an option.

Re: Stop & Shop Flowers
I wouldn't make your own bouquets and centerpieces from real flowers. Its really tough because you have do it either the day before the wedding or morning off. (My friend tried this.....everything came out nicely.....but it was very stressful for her)
I would def look into stop and shop. You can also try Costco. They have flower packages that they mail to you which included bouquets, corsages and centerpieces.
If you do want to make it on your own, I would suggest silk flowers.....

I am going the DIY route with the flowers for CP. We are ordering from flowerfarmstogo.com and arranging our own CP. You can look for my review and see how it turns out!

Re: Stop & Shop Flowers
I've heard they are nice as well.
I got married in February and I wasn't spending a lot of money on flowers, so for cp's I did silk flowers. Here are pics

I didn't know you could actually book with them, but that's cool. If your going the DIY route check out Costco if you know someone who belongs. You can order them in bulk and they are really pretty.

Stop and Shop I would have never thought of that! Brillant idea . Tatum said it best, thank goodness LIW.com provides a place for us all to share info, provide opinions/suggestions, and of course support.

Re: Stop & Shop Flowers
It didn't seem that much cheaper when I got the brochure. It doesn't include any cp and it just seemed like what you would get at a regular florist!
