STOP sweating MY MAN!!!

STOP sweating MY MAN!!!

Okay - just a little mini vent...

There's this woman that works in one of our offices that used to hit on & flirt with DH all the time, ask him out to lunch and stuff, call him, etc. (All while we were dating) She always had a good cover story and she's a holy roller always walking around preaching about Jesus and what not meanwhile she's married and totally flirting with my man (closet slut!). ANYWAY... in our jobs DH and I often get called upon to cover different buildings. Today, he happens to be covering her building for the first time in about 3 years... and COINCIDENTALLY, today of all days, she happens to have her first computer problem in 3 years!!

Yeah, like I'm stupid. Her 'problem' was that she couldn't access the internet. Well.. guess what...she's NEVER had an internet account -- GEE I wonder if THAT could cause the problem. Come ON now -- could she BE more obvious???

So DH calls me and told me about her 'problem' and of course while he's there she starts chatting him up (she always works under the guise of these deep philosophical-theology vs science conversations) and told I didn't want to hear about it because I knew what she was up to. He calls ME psycho -- like I'm crazy for thinking she's up to something!!! Okay - I know I may be overreacting a bit because of the pg hormones and all but how BLIND is he????

Wouldn't YOU see right through this or am I really being wacky????

I totally see your point, but in your situation (recently married and pregnant), I would probably be SMUG, not jealous. He belongs to YOU.

Oh he!! yeah I would totally see through it too .. and NO I don't think you are being wacky or hormonal at ALL. While I would try not to let it upset me, what WOULD Upset me is that DH turns it around and calls you psycho..

I know you trust your hubby and so would I given the situation , that is not the issue. But its still extremely disrespetful of this beoytch to play the game with a married man, and I think that all I would ask of my hubby in this situaiton is to not play into her act and to recognize that she is a ho bag

Men - honestly, they truly DO NOT GET IT They might know they are being flirted with, but how can they not see that WE dont necessariliy want to HEAR about it, nor do we find it 'funny'

this may have a little truth in it, but where does it go if the guy doesn't know they are being flirted with?

for me, and DW (we work together on the same floor) has pointed this out serveral times
that girls are always hitting on me. I pay no attention to that...

one would think that would make you feel good cause your man still got that touch that got you and that you have him while the other girls can just imagine.

but then again... its jmo

Would you be feeling that if it was some guy hitting on your DW? Just wondering........

You're not being wacky. I would be annoyed too.

DH and I have a running joke that I will track down (and hack up with a machete) anyone who hits on him. This is especially important since in the past he's had a couple of students write their phone numbers on their final exams and papers and ask him to call them.

I know DW anit going anywhere. as i said before...i dont pay attention to it. if it happens...cute, fun, whatever. i know at the end of the day, she is going home with me. people can flirt but one has to flirt back to make you wonder and go hmm...

I can totally understand how you feel - and while you wouldn't think for a second that DH would ever go for anything like this closet Jezebel, it's still hella annoying when another woman so OBVIOUSLY flirts with your guy!!
It's maddening, and it happened to me and Craig when we went to Florida together for the first time and I thoguht I was going to b i t c h slap someone! Now, I know I might not look like the most intimidating person in the world - but HOLY CRAP these girls were literally turning around in their seats on one ride to openly gawk at him, and one girl who was working at one of the ride turnstiles actually grabbed his hand and gave it a little squeeze before he went through!! On one hand, I know I have a hot man - but JEEZ, he's TAKEN!!!!!! Some women just have no class and see nothing wrong with openly flirting with a married man....

ETA - I should also mention that Craig has had some of his girl students flirt with him in the past! He never takes it seriously (obviously) and just laughs it off when I tell him thay they have crushes on their cute guitar teacher! Meanwhile, he can tell me about the 5 guys across the bar who were staring at me all night... guys sometimes!
