there are about 70 people invited to my shower in sept. i have a small apt with no available strorage space lol. my mom said i can leave stuff in her basement. anyone know how much a temp controlled storage place costs for about 6 mths??
why not just store it in your mom's basement? that is what i have been doing with all the gifts i've gotten so far...

Before we moved to PA we needed to store some of our furniture here. We got a fairly big storage space (I don't remember the size) for about $20 a month.
everything of mine is in my parents basement too lol. there basement is finished also. my dad jokes about all my crap there. we have a few thing at FH's parents house too. we will take most of it when we move to d.c. in the summer, I hope we have room for it in our new apartment.

Yes, they claimed it was temperature controlled but I'd be careful because that just means that it doesn't get frozen or and the room doesn't boil. When I went there, it was the middle of summer and was still fairly hot.
I had one for a while, and you can usually get the 1st month for 1.00, but after that the prices went up. I looked at public storage and they are 60 a month.
