Storing away the panel pants

Was this a bad idea? I dont' know about anybody else - but those panel pants are the WORST. I liked the jeans I had in the beginning with the little panel - those were fine. I grew out of those by month four though and then I would buy pants with panels and they were just so uncomfortable. My doctor says my baby has been sitting low the whole time and that might be why, but I just never found them to work out for me, even though I had to wear them most of the time since I onlly found a few under the bellys that were comfy. Anyway, yesterday in a flurry of nesting, I stored all my panel pants away. I know I know - Wishful thinking. I am probably going to still be wearing them after the baby right? I just can't bear to put them on anymore.

For you BTDT's - did you have to wear the maternity clothes for very long after the baby came? Is there ANY chance I can wear drawstring and the under the belly looser fit pants I have? Or is my belly still going to be protruding for quite a while? I know we are all different....but on the average what was your experience?

I hated panel pants and never wore them, so I can understand why you stored them away.

As for me, I only wore maternity pants twice after Nicolas was born. I stuck mostly to underbelly and drawstring waisted stuff.

that is great news Jenn - I was hoping that would be the response! I just felt like getting some of this packed away and over. Although it was kind of sentimentaly - it has been quite a journey.

But then I look at all my great clothes for Spring hanging there and cant' help but think - YAY maybe someday soon!!!!
