Hi... some of you may know that my wedding has been postponed. Well, I had to pick up my wedding gown today. I asked two different people at the store how I should store my dress and I got 2 different answers. Those of you that have your gowns in your possession way ahead of time... how did you store yours? Thanks in advance.
I wrapped two white sheets around it. Make sure it is totally covered by the sheets and pin it closed. Then I placed it in the grament bag it came with. When you close the garment bag make sure you leave it unzipped at little bit at the bottom to let air in. I had my dress in my house for a year before my wedding and this is what I did and it was perfect when I took it our to wear. Oh and don't leave it anyplace where there may be smoking or cooking with oil or smelly herbs and spices around.
