St.Patrick's Day

Anyone know of any good parades going on....other than the city??? we want to do something, but don't know that we want to brave the city....

I know that most towns have there's actually before St. Patty's day. Bay Shore's is on the 10th and then on the 11th is Bayport/Bluepoint/Patchogue. I will hopefully be going to both!!! I'm Irish so any reason to drink is good by me!!

Rocky point is a very good st patty's day parade. It's march 11th, 2007 at 1pm. We go every year. My FH rides with the Napper Tandy's float!

DH and I are having a huge party for Patty's Day. He actually just built a bar this past week for our party and it came out AMAZING! He did such a great job, I was so surprised! I knew he could do it, but he did it really good!!! But anyway, we are very big into St. Patrick's Day (both being Irish) and we had a party last year and we said to everyone that whenever St. Patrick's Day falls on a weekend, we are having a party. So this year we are having it even bigger than last year. DH turns 30 the week before so he doesn't know that I invited more people to surprise him and we are incorporating his 30th into the St. Patty's Day party and I am going all out for him. I have a tent rented for our deck outside with green lights all over the ceiling of the tent and heaters to keep everyone warm, we are having the party catered with servers, bartenders for our new bar, beer pong and flip cup tables, and Irish dancers. I am SO excited about this party because I know DH is going to love it!
