Strange question...?

Strange question...?

Has anyone asked any of the RH's they've visited if they allow pets to be part of the ceremony? If it's not clear from my name...both my FH and i are crazy abt our bulldog!

I think it should be ok if its an outdoor ceremony.

hmmm I have never asked, but from the restaurants and catering halls I have worked at I know its against board of health to have animals other then service animals (seeing eye dogs) in establishments that sell/serve food. But who knows certain places might be able to make exceptions.

im thinking the same. plus it could be an insurance thing if god forbid the dog bites someone

I'm not sure if it's different here but I went to a wedding in FL where the bride and groom had their two beagles as the ring bearers. It was an outdoor ceremony and they had a back up plan in case of rain. The dogs basically where dropped off for the ceremony and immediately taken home after that. The flower girl actually walked the dogs down the aisle. It was so cute!

ahhhh! unfortunately outdoor ceremony in the winter probably won't be too feasible. =0(

i'll just add it to the list of growing questions to ask the RH!

i asked mine and yea only during the outdoor ceremony.... they said that someone would have to then take the dog off the grounds-

we're crazy about our dog too- so we're trying to fin other ways to incorporate her- like maybe before the ceremony for pictures.....

and she's gonna be our table numbers!!

oh, sorry I didn't look at your wedding date before.
We love our dogs too but its too much work to travel with them since our RH was over an hour away. And my one dog doesn't sit still.

A friend of mine got married at Land's End and she had her dogs in the ceremony

LOL - thats ADORABLE!! im going to ask each RH i visit if my fur baby can be apart of the ceremony - that'll definitely be a factor in the hall we choose. we're also going to incorporate her into our wedding in other ways too - she's going to be on our save the date cards and in lieu of favors - we'll likely be doing a donation to bulldog rescue instead!

Fh and I would love to have our pooches at the ceremony. But, we have to ask the venue and then have someone take them back home. If your venue says yes, then I definitely would do it.

They told us we couldn't bring our dogs. The funny thing is that it's in a farm with tons of animals! We are taking photos of them and using them to number the tables. I am also making sure the photographer takes pics of them with me!

One of my friends got married at Land's End and had her Dalmatian in her ceremony lol. It was an indoor ceremony...she had a relative pick up the dog immediately afterwards and take him to her house. It's definitely doable but you need a game plan lol.
