Strange stalker **UPDATE**

So I am home from work today and I've spent most of the day relaxing on the couch. From my couch, I can see the stop sign at the corner of our street. A guy in a navy blue Caravan keeps driving by, stopping at the stop sign for several seconds/minutes, looking down our street, and then keeps driving. He usually keeps going once I go to the door and look at him and he comes by every 20-30 minutes or so. I took a picture of the caravan just in case. I tried to call our neighbor, who is home with a 3 week old baby, just to tell her to lock the doors but she isn't home. This guy is creeping me out!

****UPDATE**** DH and I were making dinner and I saw the guy pass by one more time (this was number 10 in about 6 hours). DH took off after him and followed him. DH got his address and license plate number. When DH arrived back home, a police officer happened to be sitting outside of our house giving out tickets to people who run the stop sign. DH and I let him know what was happening. Our neighbor came outside and told us and the cop that a blue minivan has been driving by the house saying hello to her 8 year old daughter!!! I'm so happy the cop came!! He went and drove to the address of the guy and the guy denied that he was there. The cop said that the guy has a really long rap sheet and was in jail a few times. He also told the guy that there was a picture of him sitting at the stop sign (good thing I took a pic ). The guy continued to deny it and the cop wrote him a ticket. The cop came back and told us to call 911 if he comes by again. We are keeping our doors and windows locked for a while!

I'm glad you got a picture of the car, I was going to suggest that. Can you see the plate #, I'd write that down too and any description you can give of the guy. Feel free to call the police, ask them to drive by and question him.

Just call the police and maybe they can drive by. It might be enough to scare the guy away.

First, good for DH for taking off after the guy and getting his info!!

Second, I'm glad you reported him to the cop and he took care of it!! You're right, good thing you took that pic!!

How sick that he was talking to your neighbor's 8 y/o little girl!!!!!!!!! I would make up a flyer with his pic and basic info (height, weight, etc) and pass it out to your other neighbors as a heads-up for the future, esp if they have kids.

That is scary!
