Strange tipping question

so for girls who are having Bands play at their weddings or more than one photographer ----

are you giving the entire tip for all members to the band leader or head photographer to split? or would you give each of them their 'share' of the tip individually?

i want to buy tipping envelopes and i dont know how many to get - i am having a 16 piece band - do i give each member an envelope or do i give the leader an envelope with tips for everyone?

For the band, I would definitely just give the tip to the band leader and let him handle it.

For the photogs, I'm not sure. I might do those separately.

YES! funny you should ask - i had a hair trial last night with Once Upon a Bride and i LOVED the woman who did my hair. so, after a ton of trials, i finally found someone!

I agree with Meg's point..

For years I danced for a DJ company working tons and tons of parties-clients usually would put a lump sum and have the MC/Leader divvy it out accordingly. Same thing with Florists, Photogs, etc..

If you want to tip out individually that's fine too, but its way easier just giving a lump sum.
