strange waxing question...

i think i am going to have my legs waxed..so on the hm i dont have to worry bout shaving...i have never waxed my legs b4 so i dont know how long u have to not shave for...my rehersal is a week before the wedding so im assuming i will have to be in pants cause u would need at east a week of not shaving right?

The hair needs to be at lease 1/4 inch long to wax so yup, youd probably have to wear pants.

my luck will have a waxing accident and lose half my leg

Also, if you wax ahead of time and then once more before the wedding, it might not be as painful second time around. But try it out with plenty of time in case there are (but hopefully not) any complications.

Oh, and also, after you get a wax, you may have to go for a touch up because there may be some stubborn ingrowns.

What if you got your legs waxed the day of the rehearsal? Waxing lasts about 3 weeks before it starts growing in....so you'd be fine for your HM.

This is exactly what I did! I got waxed the morning of the RD, which was the Weds before our Friday wedding. I did the whole 9! Legs, arms (I'm blond but A BEAST MAN on my arms! So gross!), brazilian, underams, and eyebrows!!!!!!!!!!!! It was like $200!!!!!!!!!! HA!!! My friend from Argentina came with me (to Bliss in Soho) and almost PASSED out when she heard what I paid. In Buenos Aires you can get the best waxing money can buy and it's like $50 full body!!!!!!!

Gina you have enough time to test all this out NOW. Don't wait! Grow your leg hair and get waxed once now to see how you like it. Try the Veet/Nair too. You never know what you'll like. FM me if you have questions. I highly highly recommend Bliss in the city for waxing because they use fresh wax for each client, and they are extremely good waxers.

YES! Sonia at the Soho location. I'm going Sunday, so I'll find out her last name in case there is more than one Sonia. She is THE BEST. Best results I've ever gotten on a Brazilian in the states. I would highly recommend letting it grow in reallllly well for best results. I know it's kind of awful to do that, but it really makes it all smoothest for longest.

Hey! Truthfully, I let it grow for awhile. I know it's gross but the results are soooo much more even. I usually go every 4-6 weeks. You can go sooner of course, but some of the hairs will be too short to wax off, which is why the results aren't always as good. I find when I let it grow in fully it all comes off perfectly and stays smoother longer. I don't get any hair regrowth for about 7-10 days. Then it sparsely grows in, MUCH MUCH MUCH better than shaving. FM me if you have more questions!

Barb (grkbarbie) said it really does work! She said you its like a wide nail file kind of, and you rub 3x clockwise and 3x counterclockwise and the hair is gone! Or vice versa I can't remember, but it sounds good enough to try at least!
