STRANGEST/CRAZIEST THING FH EVER DID TO SHOW HIS LOVE!

Ok, I am bored and trying to reach 500 posts. Let's tell stories of the strangest/craziest thing FH ever did to show his love. You will probably think my FH is strange but, I'll tell you anyway. We have been best friends since we were 14. FH finally asked me out senior year of high school. I did not officially say yes right away because he had led me on before and I was scared that he would change his mind. I did break up with the guy I was dating at the time, though. So anyway, FH would always tell me not to wear make-up and that I did not need it and was pretty without it. I explained that I liked to wear a little make-up to look pretty for him and I said I felt better about myself when I wore it. So, FH walks into school one day not long after asking me out with black eyeliner on. He had his own unique style and had big spikes in his hair but this was a new one. He told me that he wanted to look good for me. All day, people were calling him 'Rock Star' or 'Billy Idol.' It was pretty funny. I think he was trying to show me that he would do anything for me, just to get my attention and make me laugh. Strange, but sweet! Let me hear your stories!

That's so cute! My FH has never done anything wild to show me how much he loved me. He just does cute little things like put tylenol out with water for when I get home if I have a headache or iron my clothes for me while I'm in the shower. But my bf in high school left his Mexico vacation with his family to surprise me and come home early for my birthday.

He does small things like leave me notes in random spots. Like one morning I went to the bathroom and reached for the toilet paper and he wrote me a pretty long love note on toilet paper!!! I was so shocked!

My proposal was very thoughtfull and crazy! He planned a 3 day trip to Disney and had my best friend fly down with her hubby. We had dinner at Cinderellas castle and he proposed once dessert came out!

LOL, my mom used to leave me notes with my lunch when I was little. When you mentioned that, it took me back. But, that is sweet your FH does that.

my FH is soooo romantic. its hard to pick one thing he's done but i'd have to say the one the topped the cake was:

when we were still in the beginning stages of dating, during christmas, i was so depressed bcuz i was around his family alot and they are so close and it made me miss my parents TERRIBLY (my parents retired 3 yrs ago and moved to the dominican republic) i only get to see them like once a year so spending so much time with my Future In Laws made me so depressed that I couldnt spend the time with my parents soooo for Christmas FH bought me a plane ticket to see my parents for the weekend. I WAS IN SHOCK! plane tickets to DR can get expensive especially during peak times like christmas and the summer. it was so thoughtful and so sweet that i will never forget he did this for me.

my dad was a stay at home dad and used to do that. i do that now for my FH. i hid the notes in his check book and pads and all over the apartment and at his old office so once in awhile he finds them. it's a nice little surprise that i know he appreciates.

Engagement:
Took out a half page ad in Newsday to propose...melted my heart.

we went pumpkin picking and decorated the pumpkin by painting it.

i must have left the paint out overnight and then had to work on a sunday for a few hrs. when i come home there is a painting- as best the FH could do- that said'Mich, I love you'. it looked like a kid did it but it melted my heart
