Strapless Dresses..Only for the tiny?

So are all strapless stresses, better looking on tiny girls? I tried on a couple lately for my eng. party and for a wedding i have to go to. I am a 36C and not THAT skinny, but pretty fit. I have these rolls under my armpits...more int he front right below my shoulder. you girls know what i'm talkin about :)
I feel i can't wear a strapless, and i love them. I also wasnt wearing a bra trying them on, but would a bra really help me look better in it? I am rambling, havent been on the boards posting in a while!!!!

I don't think so..who says that you can't wear one??? Sometimes a bra helps to even things out

Its the underarm rolls! I feel like i dont look good in it and they only look ok on tiny girls......

Bras DO help, but try a bustier or an all in one. This way you wont have to be picking it up all night. It holds itself up.

Yeah I hate that when I wear something strapless...I am always adjusting...not that I have much to adjust but I feel like its always moving around..the bra I mean

I am a 38 DD and not at ALL skinny and I wear strapless ALL the time. The trick is finding the right size. I usually have to have them altered. You shoulnd;t be getting any rolls. if you are, it's not fitting you right. I usually get a bigger size and have the waist and very top part taken in. Also, I wear a long line bra usually, the bra makes ALL the difference!

Yep, the all in one rules. I never adjust anything..I party the night away and dance dance dance. I worry about nothing..and it's way better than picking up straps all night.

If you find a bra that is designed to create more cleavage I find that it helps eliminate the underarm roll.

You also have to be very careful about BACK CLEAVAGE when your undergarment and/or dress is too tight. It happens on the biggest and smallest of women. Nothing worse than that line created down one's spine when everything is too tight.

What is the 'all in one'?

an all in one is sort of like a corset. it's a bra that goes down tot eh waist with regular bra clips ip the back, and usually some boning for shaping. It's really good for strapless gowns, and it holds istself up b/c it covers the torse ad it has the boning. i'm a BIG girl, and it gives me all the support I need

I am not super tiny but still have the same problems...I have found that a great bra can solve many of them. Try going to a lingerie shop that will take the time to properly fit you- it may cost more $$ but it is a good investment!!

i wore a strapless for a friends e-party --- but I couldn't bring myself to take off my cardigan.

I feel too exposed...I can't get over that feeling!

i'm a 34C but am considered very small (less than 105llbs) and i have that annoying fat under my arms whenever i wear a strapless dress. the bra definitely helps minimize it, but i still know it's there. i will not wear a strapless gown on my wedding day.

Actually an all in one is not really like a corset. It fits like a bathing suit. It comes with straps or strapless and covers the belly too. This one below is a high leg cut but they make them low cut too.

I personally do not feel comfortable with strapless -- I went with illusion sleeves.

Nancy Ganz makes some great garments. I go to macys or Bloomies for a good selection. There are ones, but Flexees that really suck you in.

straples fall down on me but a good bra and darts in the dress help out alot.

try a 2 piece strapless with the top being a bustier.

i tried on some by private labely by g that were awesome and held me up really well without rolls or anything.

renates in lindenhurst and burtons in melville carry these brands
