Re: strapless flowergirl dresses?
Is this even a for real poster-seems lie someone's hubby might be playing around.
Ditto-strapless on a 5 year old=pooling around their ankles. I don't even like those little stretchy tube summer dresses on kiss that young.

i dont understand. what do you mean inappropriate. there are tons of wedding dress that are strapless.
yeah theres also a difference between a 20-something, 30-something and older woman and 5 year old child. Theres alot of clothes that adults wear that kids shouldn't wear. Theres tube tops for adult women but i would never dress my kid in one.
You can get a very pretty child like FG dress with spaghetti straps that is more age appropriate.

Re: strapless flowergirl dresses?
I guess in today's day and age strapless dresses arn't really considered inappopriate anymore... especially since wedding dresses which are often worn in churches and supposed to symbolize purity and chastity lol so if this is a real poster I guess she just doesn't get it?
But I agree that A) strapless not appropriate for girls under 10 (even 10 is pushing it) and B) It wouldn't even stay up
Young kids don't care... they'd be running around with the dress falling down to their waist and not even notice lol can you imagine

Re: strapless flowergirl dresses?
I am not going to tell anyone what is/isn't appropriate for their wedding but I will say this. As a parent I think it is up to the child's parent to decide what is or isn't appropriate for their child.
We looked for strapless for my FG's Their mother wanted strapless to match me. Unfortunately they don't make them and we would need to have it done professionally needless to say we got something different.
They were strapless all the time. Today's kids are much different then we were.
My nieces (FG's) have strapless bathing suits, sundresses, tube tops, dance costumes, and pageant wear.
But I do have to agree that they don't make them it is probably because they have nothing to hold it up.

I don't think they make them, as usually young kids do not wear strapless as they do not have anything to hold them up. There isn't much of a demand so thats why its so hard to find. You could probably get a dress with spehghetti straps and have them removed, but def make sure the childs parents are okay with them wearing strapless as they may feel the child is too young.
