Strapless Vs. Sleeves

Strapless Vs. Sleeves

Any bride out there who loves how strapless dresses look on them but it uncomfortable about showing their arms? I've been trying dresses with sleeves- some which I like a lot, but I also like a lot of strapless- I need to decide soon so that I don't waste time trying on dresses that I am not going to wear- how do I get over this arm fear? Or do I?

I think you put on the gown you will see the whole image and not just your arms.

Personally I went off the shoulder -- to me it was a compromise. I noticed most brides not like their arms. When I tried on gowns, strapless was better than a tank style or short sleeve. Try them on and see what you like best.

When I initially went to try on gowns, I was so upset about my arms, that I wouldn't even try on a straples.. then I tried on a strapless, just too see and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! It flattered my figure so much more then any of the other dresses with sleeves.. It's up to you.. I truly believe that when you try on your gown you will know.. My gown, is what I've always wanted and I love it on my self and I'm comfortable and that is all that matters.. also I am wearing a veil that will sort of cover my arms.. when you wear the strapless, it makes your arms look longer because you see the whole neck bone/shoulder area.. I am not a strapless fan. My chest is very large so would feel like I was pulling up my dress all night. Mine is a high sheer neck that is sleeveless. Going to get full length gloves and a faux fur wrap

Try a strapless with a jacket over it. Mine has a sheer duster, which I can choose to take off I feel ok with my arms later. Take a look.

I absolutely hate my arms. All along I said I want sleeves then my dress went on me. That was it. It is off the shoulder with thin straps and I feel it is so flattering to my heavier arms. Try on everything and see how they look. Just have an open mind when you see them on the hanger. Good Luck

A thought...sleeves might make your arms look worse if they pull in the wrong places or are a little snug. I have very broad, bony shoulders (very weird, they look like they're separated from the rest of my body ) , so I didn't look right in a strapless. I have sheer sleeves.

I had the same issues about strapless!!! I absolutely hate my arms, but when I tried my strapless dress on I fell in love!! The moral: try a little of everything cause you never know and may be pleasantly surprised!!!
