Strawberry Shortcake & Care Bears are back!

Ok, I'm excited! I bought a Strawberry Shortcake Bobble head for my desk at work today. I used to love strawberry shortcake & the care bears, and the smurfs too. Anybody else?

It feels great to go down memory lane. When you mention this stuff to a child now, he/she says looks at you like you are crazy. .

Re: Strawberry Shortcake & Care Bears are back!

i was joking with Brians young cousin when Joe Mcintyre came out with an album. I told her oh wow i remember when he was a NKOTB. she was like what, he is this new artist. I was like you best not be for real. I had to show her my Joey NKOTB doll and all my new kids posters, videos and tapes. wow tapes.

i love walking down memory lane

Re: Strawberry Shortcake & Care Bears are back!

I was a little too old when that stuff came out, but my younger sister had Strawberry Shortcake dolls and a Cabbage Patch doll. One day my brother took her Cabbage Patch doll and put a noose around its neck then hung it from the ceiling fan. When my sister came into the room and saw her doll swinging around on the fan she freaked!!! She was a brat - she deserved it. Heh heh.....

I still have my one Strawberry Shortcake doll that blows strawberry smelling kisses when you squeeze her-doesn't smell like strawberries anymore thoguh

Tracy-I still have my strawberry shortcake records too. I remember one of them is about them going for a picnic and it rains on them! What a memory I have!

kp-lol, I still had all my Cabbage Patch dolls (about 15 of them) on a shelf in my office up until a few yrs ago when FH moved in and it became his office. He made me take them down He said he couldn't work in a room that had dolls all around him!!

Re: Strawberry Shortcake & Care Bears are back!

YAY kptoys, I thought I was the only big kid around. My father makes fun of me! He loves when people come over, he makes them look at my room. It's pink with cabbage patch kids all over the place, disney movies all lined up, stuff animals up the wazoo! I think he gets a kick out of it! He's got 9 more months, then i'm outta there

Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, and My little Pony ... Loved them! I'm going to pick up a care bear for my desk, one of these days ... either yellow or pink!
