STRESS!!!

Anyone not dealing with the stress well? I am in such a slump right now. Just 51 days to go. My shower is this Saturday. Going for my first fitting next week. All the major things are done, but I just can't get in a good mood

I'm in a good mood MOST of the time, especially when I book a vendor, but I definitely get into slumps and take some time off from planning.

Pamper yourself, take a bubble bath all by yourself w/candles and a good book, oh and a glass of wine too.

Another one is a good massage, treat yourself !! Get a massage, a manicure/pedicure. That should make you feel better !!!!

That's normal. I have those spells sometimes as well. I am mostly upbeat but all the planning sometimes gets to you. Don't worry, you will eventually GET IN THE MOOD!!! Just think of the wonderful man you have beside you and all the fun you'll have on YOUR day. Just take a few moments each day and breathe and try to relax

I am totally stressed. I have 38 more days to go and my back is in a huge knot. I am going to the chirpractor today because I can barely handle the pain in my lower back anymore.
I have a spa day on Sunday and cannot wait!!!!

I'm going through a MAJOR slump right now!!!! I have 9 days left and I'm soooo depressed! It's mostly caused by my bridal party though, I wish more than anything I could get rid of all of them but....then everyday it seems like someone else is dropping off our guestlist, it's bad enough we didn't make our minimum, but we STILL have people telling us that they can't come for some reason or another, it's REALLY getting to me, it's sad but I can't wait to just get this stupid wedding over with already, I wish to GOD I had just eloped!!!!

Evelyn, I felt the same way about my bridesmaids when they were giving me a hard time about dresses and shoes. I just wanted to get rid of them but everything worked out at the end.

I also had about 7 people that didn't show up, even my stepmother which was sick and I was so upset. The day turned out beautiful and everthing else worked out.

Don't worry, everything will be great and with CB taking care of everything that day you won't have any problems.

November bride- No more responses? We have about 32 out of 110 that I sent out. Only 2 no's.

Evelyn-I have the same thoughts all the time. Let us know what time we should all be there. We can help you make your minimum!!!

We have half of the responses back. We sent them out the last week of August. The RSVP date is in 9 days. What are they waiting for?

didn't realize you were having at CB. My brother got married there a few years back and it was awsome. Everything was great. I was also at a Cancer fund raiser there about 2 months ago and again it was wonderful. Think of the empty seats as more room for everyone to enjoy themselves. Also just keep the honeymoon in the front of your brain. There are days when I call Matt to ask him if we are in Tahiti yet!

Jenhos, you're so cute! Yeah I think that's the only thing that's keeping me going right now, honeymoon baby!!!! Yeah!!! The only bad thing is we're not going until November, ugh.....but we are going away for a long weekend to Rhode Island for some much needed R&R......

Novemberbride- As I was involved in planning my shower I was horrified to see how many people we had to track down. Hoping we won't have too many for the wedding but nothing suprises me anymore. At least you didn't have someone decide that 'accepts with pleasure' was incorrect and have them correct on the response. Anyone who has planned a wedding should know that a bride may panic that what she had printed on her invites was worng. People have no regard for other peoples feelings. I wonder if you have to call people do they feel stupid?

I am REALLY stressed. I am in the same boat as Evelyn, I have 9 days to go and I have so much left to do. I keep asking myself why we didn't elope!! But then I think of how great the day is going to be and I start to get excited on top of the stress. And of course the week in Aruba is keeping me going. (in a week and a half I will be laying on the beacj with a BIG FAT drink in my hand) I have to admit I was surprised to find out this wasn't all roses, and romance and fun and sweet and wonderful!! I am sure the wedding will be wonderful but leading up to it has been stressful.

Jen I bet you get out of your slump once you have your shower and your fitting. That got me really psyched and excited and ready to go!!

Hey Octbride, make sure you have one for us!! Hee-hee! I agree, hang in there Jenhos!!! There were times when I felt like I was floating on air and besides the fact that I am looking forward to the HM, I'm looking forward to marrying my best friend, that day will be special no matter what, when the day comes everyone won't matter but my FH & my family so...Keep your chin up babe, and remember, that's why you have all of us, we're always here to listen to each other, especially when other people just don't seem to understand or think that we overreact, little do they know that we've always had this idea in our heads since we were little girls about the 'perfect' wedding & how much fun it will be, no one tells us about the downside of it, even Hollywood....they always show the romantic, fun side of weddings, never the stress & anxiety caused by it. But thanks to everyone here, we can console one another!

im completely STRESSED too, i have 25 days to go and a big knot in my stomach. Today is the rsvp date and forty people have not responded yet
how rude. the bank account is bone dry and the to do list seems longer than ever. I cant wait till the wedding and cant wait to start my new life with fh.
