I'm having one of those stress out moments... i'm stuck working evenings this whole week (3pm till 11:30pm) and flipping out because the evenings are usually when FH and I get stuff done (and get to see each other)... I'm not even stressed necessarily about the wedding - but just EVERYTHING... like i need to figure out how to get BLS certified for my job ASAP - yet i have no days off to do that... and it's my SIL's bday... and i have to find a place for the puppy to stay while i'm at a wedding... just having a freak out moment & I knew you girls would understand!

I'm sure we can help you with ideas for your SIL's birthday. What's her age and interests?
Also, in terms of your puppy - are you looking to have a family member care for him/her, or looking more into a boarding situation? If you're looking to board your puppy, I'm sure some people on here can give you references. And your vet probably offers boarding too.
BLS certification...I have no idea what that is, but is it something you can do before work, since you have late hours this week?

oh I hear you!!!! I had a stress attack last week. It was like an emotional breakdown due to all the stress.
And it's not the wedding...lt's everything else. I know how you feel! But eventually it will all pass!

Hey see if there are any local places teaching a BLS course.... I used to volunteer as an emt before I started working as a nurse, sometimes they have those classes in a day or a night! Wish I was certified to teach the course
Stinks you are working nights but if it makes you feel any better I am working 7p - 7a the next 3 in a row

Thanks for the help! My SIL is 33ish with 2 young kids - i was thinking prob just getting a gift card to starbucks or something.... The puppy - i dont know what to do with. We live in VA so are driving up to LI either late thurs night or early fri morning for the wedding. my friend said she could watch the puppy for friday night while we're at the wedding but then we don't know what to do with her for saturday night (i promised a friend i havent seen since i've moved here i'd go out) & cant leave her with my dad.... so i have to find something for her in the westbury area for saturday/night & I found a place near my house that does the BLS stuff - but they only offer it like twice a month and they're not on days i could go.... just a lot of frustration and i wont see FH till saturday since i'll be sleeping when he leaves and hes sleeping when i wake up! When did life get so complicated?
